  Hi guys this is Lucy🙂!💅💅🩵🎀🎀 Today we had a nice day. We got out of the house very late. Me and Penny r still very slow getting up in the morning still. So anyways the first thing we did was we went to Piazza Navona. It was very cool!!!!😎 😎 There is a lot of cool people or gods sculpted in the fountains!😲 Then as we were walking around my dad saw a cappuccino place that he LOVED!! 🧡🧡🧡 (BTW my dad has been to Rome before.) So anyways we went in! My dad said I would get a cappuccino! 💅💅🎀🎀🩵 I got it and it was so good!!💅💅 Best cappuccino I ever had in my entire life!!!( Even tho I have only had like 3 in my life 😂) Still the best!💅🩵 Then we went to the Pantheon. It's really big 😲!!  When my mom comes over to Rome we will all go inside but the outside it still cool!😎😎😎😎😎 And last thing we saw this elephant sculpture. It's by this guy (I think that's the gender) Berini and it's in front on the Sopra Minerva.  That place it cool too! 💅💅 And there is Italian gards in front of it with guns. It's kind of creepy but cool! 😎  Then we walked home. It's a long walk but there is a water filler place and you can get Seltzer for free!🩵🩵💅💅🎀🎀 One of my favorite spots. Nice cold refreshing free Seltzer. Ok well hope you guys have a nice day in Newport! Byeeeeee

Vatican Museums: Old Art Aplenty

🖌 🎨 (This is Craig's Dad filling in some of the gaps, though Penny picked out the pictures.) Friday we went to the Vatican Museums. It was hot, and crowded, but otherwise a great experience. The top pic is a selfie in front of Raphael's School of Athens with all of history's great philosophers, Plato and Aristotle at the center. The museum stretches on forever with Roman statues, medieval frescoes (a form of mural painting on wet plaster that is really difficult but spectacular), and even some more contemporary art at the end (like the last painting with the traveling Cardinal and chunky cows). Above is the famous Laocoon where the Trojan priests and his sons are killed by a sea monster for warning his countrymen to not accept the Greek gift of the Trojan horse. Next, Lucy & Penny are in front of Nero's bathtub -- it's huge! There are also amazing tapestries like this one of Jesus, whose eyes follow you across the room.
